October 16, 2008, 16 years ago
FETO Records, which is owned and operated by Shane Embury (NAPALM DEATH) and Mick Kenney (ANAAL NATHRAKH), is excited to announce two new releases.
First is the debut album from d-beat masters BURNING THE PROSPECT, entitled No Great Design. Also available is Variante Alla Morte, the new album from legendary grind act CRIPPLE BASTARDS.
Cripple Bastards were formed 20 years ago in Northern Italy and have made a name for themselves as one of the fiercest bands on the planet. Variante Alla Morte, mixed by Fredrick Nordstrom (AT THE GATES, DIMMU BORGIR, IN FLAMES), continues down the path of brutality that fans of the band have come to know and love. Cripple Bastards have scheduled several upcoming shows including this Saturday at the Mosh It Up Fest in Krakow, Poland. For music, tour dates and more, check out myspace.com/cripplebastards.
Drawing on inspiration from bands such as His Hero Is Gone and Disfear, Burning The Prospect evoke echoes of punk, Swedish hardcore and d-beat scenes, among others.
No Great Design is 16 tracks of sheer carnage, mixed and mastered by Mick Kenney. The band will be touring Europe throughout 2008 and 2009, so be sure to catch them in a town near you. For music, tour dates and more, check out myspace.com/wetheaccursed.
