May 24, 2007, 17 years ago
As previously reported, ELEGY frontman Ian Parry will issue his new CONSORTIUM PROJECT IV album, Children Of Tomorrow, via Metal Heaven in Europe on July 20th. Parry has revealed that California-based label ProgRock Records will issue the album in the U.S. on July 30th, followed by a debut Brazilian release via Dynamo Records in August. A video for the song 'Enigma' is currently in the works.
Parry's Visions album and Elegy's Principles Of Pain will also be re-issued.
At this point Parry plans to put the Consortium Project on the road later this year. The Children Of Tomorrow album marks the first time Parry and Elegy guitarist Henk van der Laars have worked together since Elegy's 1998 album, Manifestations Of Fear. Van der Laars has expressed interest in touring for the album "as a prelude to an Elegy reunion." The reunion would be to support the forthcoming Elegy anthology, due to be issued via Sanctuary Records in August.
