San Diego, California power metallers CAGE have completed the first four shows on their First Strike European headlining tour.

Cage vocalist Sean Peck reports, "The band's shows in Hamburg, Uelsen, Datteln (Mercenaries Metal Meeting Festival) and Frankfurt, Germany had the fans going crazy for our heavy and aggressive style of American power metal music". We even had a full contingent of metal media representatives from Heavy and Rock Hard magazines at the Frankfurt show, which were blown away with the intensity and live performance of Cage".

The band, who are on the road supporting the release of their fifth CD, Science Of Annihilation, that will be made available all over Europe on May 22nd via Musicbymail, is currently blazing through Germany and will play a total of 15 shows during 18 days in seven countries to include Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Belgium, Holland and Switzerland.

Cage's management is currently receiving offers from promoters for show dates on their soon to be announced September 2009 Second Strike European tour that will take the band to France, Austria, Spain, Italy, Greece and the UK.

All the First Strike European shows will be treated as exclusive Cage CD release parties. All fans in attendance will be able to purchase the new CD exclusively weeks before it hits retail/online/digital stores. In addition, brand new never before available merchandising (t-shirts, hoodies, posters) will be available for purchase at all of the shows.
