CATHOLICON - Of Ages Past Remastered Coming To iTunes, Founder Pens Lyrics For Forthcoming EXCOMMUNICATED Album

CATHOLICON's Blasphyre has issued the following update:
"We anxiously await the iTunes version of our fourth album Of Ages Past to return from the mastering lab. This album was completely remixed and remastered; so expect something fresh and slightly different from the 2009 CD release version. We will post the album on MySpace for a limited time, and will also post the remastered version of our very first album from 1998, Lost Chronicles Of The War In Heaven, on MySpace for a limited time.Next in line, for late 2010, will be the debut album, Skeleton Key, by death/blackmetal newcomers, EXCOMMUNICATED. A new website for the band will be up soon and some demo tracks posted. The album will tentatively have about 9 tracks, with the titles:
'The Keys To Heaven'
'Not Peace, But A Sword'
'Nights Of The Black Mass'
'The Book Of Gomorrah'
'When Death Claims Its Rightful Dead'
'The Vatican Orgies'
'Minutes Of The Corpse Trials'
'Cry To Heaven'
'The Sum Of Life’s Pain'
...and will be concept album centered around the factual history of the Catholic Church and pre-medieval Christianity. The lyrics were originally conceived by Blasphyre as a sequel to Catholicon's Death Throes album; but due to never being completed were pushed back again and again, remaining still unfinished at the time of the band's end. Now finally nearling completion and half a decade of fermenting, Skeleton Key will hopefully finally see the light of day this year, with new music and a new chemistry that will bring the album to its fullest potential.
