CHARRED WALLS OF THE DAMNED have issued the following update from drummer Richard Christy (ex-ICED EARTH, DEATH):

"I will be signing Charred Walls Of The Damned CDs at our exclusive album release party before THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER show at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, New York on the night of the album release, October 11th! I’m a huge Black Dahlia fan, their new album Ritual rules, and I’m psyched to be signing our new album, then hanging at the show with all the fans! You won’t need a ticket to the show to get your album signed but you should DEFINITELY hang out afterward to see the amazing show with The Black Dahlia Murder, ALL SHALL PERISH, CANNIBAS CORPSE and GANG SIGNS. I’ll have much more info on the release party and also a possible Black Dahlia show after party very soon!

I’m also super pumped to announce that last weekend we filmed a video for the new Charred Walls song 'Zerospan', and it freaking rules! Metal fans AND horror fans are going to be so psyched to see this video! We’re gonna spend some time editing it and doing some post production to make it super awesome and it should premier later in the year, it will definitely be worth the wait! My good friend Mike Schiff who directed the 'Ghost Town' video also co-directed the 'Zerospan' video along with my good friend Sean McEwan who I worked with on the horror film Albino Farm, and the makeup effects were done by the great Brian Spears and Peter Gerner at G&S; Effects LightAndDark.net. Brian and Peter did the effects for the amazing vampire film Stakeland which if you’re a horror fan, you HAVE to see, it RULES!"

Charred Walls Of The Damned will release their new album, Cold Winds On Timeless Days, on October 11th via Metal Blade Records.

The track 'Ashes Falling Upon Us' is now streaming below. Pre-order options are available at this location.

Richard Christy previously stated: "It’s 12 songs of crushing heavy metal and I CAN’T WAIT for everyone to hear it. I’m VERY proud of this album, everyone worked so hard on it and when you listen to it, it definitely shows."

Charred Walls Of The Damned returns with the follow up to their self-titled debut. Richard Christy, Tim "Ripper" Owns, Jason Suecof and Steve DiGiorgio once again join forces to bring to life Christy's latest body of work, Cold Winds On Timeless Days. The writing process for the new album actually began while the band was mixing their 2010 debut. Richard Christy used his experience on the first album to write songs that catered not only to each member's playing style, but to Jason Suecof's production style. The result: demos that turned out nearly identical to what ended up on the album.

With 12 songs clocking in at 58 minutes, fans are getting a lot more music this time around. Recording twelve songs in a short amount of time is no easy feat, but one that was accomplished because of the stellar talents in the band.

Christy elaborates further; "I wanted to get a natural sound out of this album, I wanted everyone to be well rehearsed, not that I wanted the album to be rushed, but I wanted the spontaneous live feel and not over think anything too much."

Richard Christy describes Cold Winds On Timeless Days as a "perfect storm of producing" – Audiohammer's Jason Suecof produced and Mark Lewis mixed, while mastering was handled by Alan Douches at West Westside.
