RokIsland Fest 2022 has announced that Cheap Trick will be added to its already incredible lineup of heavy metal hitmakers, replacing Loverboy, who has had to cancel due to travel restrictions getting back into their home country of Canada.
“We are disappointed that Loverboy is unable to perform this year, but understand and hope to have them join us in the future. We are excited to have Cheap Trick join the lineup. Anytime you have to replace a band on a lineup it’s tough, but we couldn’t have asked for a better addition to our inaugural year,” said Dave Giencke, co-founder of RokIsland Fest.
RokIsland Fest will take place on January 14-17 in Key West, Florida. Hosted by legendary radio and television personality Eddie Trunk, the inaugural music festival boasts a lineup of heavy metal hitmakers and hard rock icons including Bret Michaels, Dee Snider, Jackyl, Cheap Trick, Night Ranger, Skid Row, Warrant, Winger, Dokken/Lynch Reunion, Lita Ford and many more.
With most of the RokIsland Fest performances taking place at The Truman Waterfront Park Amphitheater, the boutique venue provides an intimate performance atmosphere unique to other rock festivals around the world. In addition to four days of propulsive, high energy live shows along the Gulf waters of Key West, festival attendees will also have unparalleled access to world-class hotels, local fare from renowned restaurants and various recreational excursions/activities (sailing, diving, snorkeling, fishing, etc.) - a true rock and roll experience in a destination paradise.
Four-Day and Single Day passes are available now. Passes include access to all festival performances (does not include lodging). For more information, head here.
