SAVATAGE / DOCTOR BUTCHER / TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA guitarist Chris Caffery is currently on a promo trip in Europe to support his new solo album, Pins And Needles. He has issued the following update:

The computer PISSES ME OFF!!!

Saturday morning I woke up to realize that my screen on my MC was not lighting up. The computer works, but you càn't see the screen. So...I sit in an internet cafe near the airport in Dusseldorf, Germany. I have the night off! I will fly back to the snow tomorrow, I hope it will not be too bad!

The shows went great. The EDGUY guys are so cool. Toby (Sammet/vocals) and I talked a lot. I was given an Edguy shirt to wear at Saturday's show. It was kinda funny because I was watching Edguy from the security pit up front. I was listening to a song that sounded very Savatage-like. The song ended and Toby looked at me and said over the mic that they stole that song from Savatage years ago! I think that is so flattering.

I played 4 songs each show with Doro. It was a blast. I am working out some details now but I will have some interesting news for everyone soon. This will include the announcement of my US label and a US tour as well. Yes folks...the US..and Canada. Yes folks, out West as well!

I added one more show in at the Headbangers Ballroom in Hamburg at the end of my run in April. Actually it is May 1st. This is just Chris Caffery band and some local supports.

Very frustrating with the non-working computer because I have so much business coming in. CD package approvals, tour stuff, interview schedules, travel arrangements...SUX!

I discussed it with Nick Douglas last night and we are going to film me shooting my MAC once I dump the important info out and get a new computer. It will be cyber hunting with Chris Caffery. I think it will be very popular on U Tube!

OK, I am heading back to the hotel.

My thanks to Doro, Edguy and everyone at the shows. It was a lof of fun to play and great to see 4,000 German metal fans in 2 days!

Looks like this summer is going to be crazy busy for me. Lots of details to come soon but things are about to get busier for me than they ever have in my life. Like I was not busy enough!
