DAITRIBE Enlist New Singer
December 14, 2009, 15 years ago
Chicago metal band, DAITRIBE has officially announced it's lineup. After an extensive search, Rich Collins (Habit of Force) has been chosen to handle vocal duties.
Collins states: "I've been looking for a band that can really 'tear it up.' I have found that quality in DaiTribe and I intend to push the boundaries of the band and myself to really bring something new to the industry."
DaiTribe is preparing to write and record it's first full disc for a 2010 release. The band plans to tour extensively to support the disc as an opening act starting in late spring.
Tristan adds "You want a guy that can fit in on every level and works as hard as you do. A strong identifiable voice (which he brings in excess!) isn't enough, you've got to be able to live with the guy. It took some time to get here, now everyone else gets to experience why."
DaiTribe released the successful and well received The Second Coming to radio in 2006 via True Gemini Records.
DaiTribe is:
Rich Collins - vocals
Tristan '1690' Grigsby - guitar
Ricky Riccardo - bass
Michael 'Cat' Grigsby - drums
