Swedish melodic death metallers DARK TRANQUILLITY have issued the following update:
"About bloody time: We're finally appearing at the Sweden Rock Festival. Great news! Exact date of playing will be announced shortly.Brief tour update: we're three shows into the U.S. trek and things are going absolutely great so far. Just arrived to Worchester, MA and have devoured our daily donut-and-coffee breakfast. A decision to play 'Icipher' live for the very first time has been taken, so hopefully it'll go down well. If not, it never happened.
Also, do check out the new website of photographer Marcus Bergman, who took the booklet pics for Fiction: www.marcusbergman.com."
As previously reported, Dark Tranquillity have posted their new video clip for 'Focus Shift', a song taken from the band’s forthcoming album Fiction (North American street date: April 24th / European street date: April 23rd via Century Media) online. The new video was directed by Roger Johansson and you can watch the new clip here.
The new album, Fiction, was mixed by Tue Madsen (HIMSA, THE HAUNTED) and according to a press release, "encompasses all of the elements on which the band built their career: thought-provoking lyrics, shredding guitar work, captivating melodies and sheer brutality. This offering is perhaps best compared to a modern-day version of the group’s revered classics The Gallery and The Mind’s I, only with more intensity behind it."
