Bay Area thrashers DEATH ANGEL have checked in with an update from the recording sessions for their new studio album, along with a couple pictures:

"Ted jammin on Rob's acoustic yesterday at Spiderville sessions. Workin' out those new riffs and arrangements! Breakin' it down, it's all in the details now..."

"Damien ripping and tearing thru the final bass track of our latest demo. Rhythm guitars, drums and bass done... for now. Phase 3 complete just in time to turn attention to rehearsing for our upcoming shows in Japan!"

Death Angel are gearing up for two exclusive shows in Japan alongside thrash titans TESTAMENT and DESTRUCTION on March 9th and 10th, 2013 at Club Citta in Kawasak-Shi, Japan. For details click here.
