DECAPITATED Drummer Dies After Russian Bus Crash

According to the Polish Internet portal Onet.pl, Witold "Vitek" Kieltyka, drummer of DECAPITATED passed away today (November 2nd) in a Russian hospital from injuries sustained in a recent road collision. He was 23 years old. The Polish death metallers had been on tour in Russia since October 18th. According to Wikipedia, on October 29th 2007, while travelling to a show in Gomel, Belarus, the band was involved in an automobile accident. Their tour bus collided with a truck carrying wood, injuring Vitek and Covan (Adrian Kowane - vocals). The bus was said to be 'beyond repair' following the crash, an indication of the impact of the collision.
