DEEP PURPLE Legends Jon Lord, Glenn Hughes Confirmed For Childline Rocks

According to Metro.co.uk, DEEP PURPLE legends Jon Lord, Glenn Hughes will play at the Childline Rocks concert which will take place at the IndigO2 in London on June 1.
Childline supporter and radio DJ Bob Harris said he was excited that aging rockers Jon and Glenn were gracing the gig.
"Glenn was with us last year for Childline Rocks and was an absolutely unbelievable success, he was the star of the night in many ways. So we invited him to come back again, so he's flying in from Los Angeles especially for the concert," he said.Childline founder Esther Rantzen said the concert was an important way to raise money for the cause: "We did Childline Rocks 2008 and it was so spectacular and everybody had such a fantastic time that it was quite clear it was going to have to be an annual event.
"Not only it is fun, not only is the music amazing, but it raises money for children to call Childline who have nowhere else to turn."
