DEF LEPPARD Drummer RICK ALLEN To Join Wife LAUREN MONROE For Three Intimate US Shows
March 4, 2022, 2 years ago
Singer / songwriter Lauren Monroe - the wife of Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen - will release her new single, "Kiss Me Now", on March 18th. To coincide with the release, Monroe has announced three shows in the US where she will be joined by Allen on stage.
Lauren: "I’m happy to announce I’ll be headed back to my East Coast roots for a short run of shows after being away for 2.5 years! It will be a very special time reconnecting with family and friends and familiar faces for three shows with with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Rick Allen and my band in NYC, Philly, and DC. Rick and I will be auctioning two very special pieces of art we created to help raise funds for music healing programs and Raven Drum Foundation while we’re on the road.
Can’t make it to a show? You can bid on art online! We’re also offering you the opportunity to donate a seat for a Veteran to attend the show 'as your guest' in each city. These evenings will feature storytelling and music to uplift people while raising money to help others. My dream job!"
Founded by Allen and Monroe, Raven Drum Foundation's mission is to serve, educate, and empower veterans dealing with PTSD and combat trauma, people in crisis, and other at-risk populations.
