DEFACING GOD Take You Behind The Scenes On Creation Of The Resurrection Of Lilith Album; Studio Diary Video Streaming

Defacing God recently released their new album, The Resurrection Of Lilith, via Napalm Records. Today, the band release a behind the scenes video focusing on the creation of the album.

A message states: "The recording ritual took place at Hansen Studios, placed in the oldest town of Denmark, Ribe. Ribe is specifically known for it's history, art and facinating ambience. Ribe was a major centre for the Witch Trials in Denmark and the best known case is the trial against Maren Spliid who was burned in 1641.
A well off and respected woman but the king took control and Maren was eventually brutally executed as a gruesome Witch. Denmark's answer to Salem, which made it the perfect place for Lilith to reborn and resurrect."

Rooted in occultism and witchcraft, Defacing God strives on ancient stories and grandiose soundscapes conjuring their worthy representation of opulent Scandinavian metal traditions. Echoing styles of artists such as Dimmu Borgir and Cradle Of Filth. The band continues the legacy of unconventional extreme metal, taking their rightful place in the garden of Eden and ready to deface God.
