Montreal based metallers DERELICT have announced the dates for their cross Canada tour in support of their new album, Unspoken Words, which is set for a May 19th release through Year Of The Sun Records.
"Last year we made it all the way to Edmonton, so we're super happy to get all the way to Vancouver this time. We'll be making new friends and fans but also returning to the places that went great last year,” says Derelict’s Eric Burnet. “Aside from being guaranteed great shows, those gigs will allow us to reconnect with some of the amazing people that inhabit this country. It's going to be awesome."Derelict's national debut Unspoken Words was mixed and mastered by Chris Donaldson (CRYPTOPSY, THE AGONIST).
The group has also announced the addition of guitarist Max Lussier to their line-up. Lussier will take over guitar duties previously handled by frontman Eric Burnet which will bolster the group’s already impressive stage show. "Max's chops are amazing and he brings even more to the band than we ever asked. I think this was the right move for us," commented Burnet.
The group is currently streaming tracks from their forthcoming debut online at their MySpace page.
