Monster Energy presents DimeBash 2011 - December 14th at The Key Club in West Hollywood, CA

The hard rock and metal tribe gather once again to celebrate the life and music of "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott; artists and surprise guests to be announced soon. Tickets, priced at $20 each, are on sale now at this location.

Fellow musicians pay homage to one of metal's beloved fallen heroes by performing songs either written by or that were an inspiration to Dimebag Darrell. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up & Shout Cancer Fund.

DIO DISCIPLES, featuring RONNIE JAMES DIO alumni Simon Wright (drums), Craig Goldy (guitar), Scott Warren (keyboards) and Rudy Sarzo (bass) along with vocalists Tim "Ripper" Owens (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, BEYOND FEAR, ex-JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH) and Toby Jepson (LITTLE ANGELS, GUN), as well as KILL DEVIL HILL, are scheduled to perform at the event.

DimeBash 2011 will also include an all-star jam featuring members of PANTERA, ANTHRAX, VELVET REVOLVER, DISTURBED, SLIPKNOT, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, SYSTEM OF A DOWN, plus JOHN 5, SEBASTIAN BACH and more.

Last year's DimeBash contained an all-star line-up of hard rock and metal titans that shared the stage, including: Dave Grohl of FOO FIGHTERS, Simon Wright from DIO, Brent Smith, Zach Myers and Eric Bass of SHINEDOWN, Kerry King and Dave Lombardo of SLAYER, Robb Flynn and Phil Demmel of MACHINE HEAD, Chuck Billy from TESTAMENT, Chris Howorth and Maria Brink of IN THIS MOMENT, the legendary Lemmy of MOTÖRHEAD and many others.

DimeBash 2011 will no doubt be another notch on the spiked leather guitar strap of metal's legendary events, all in celebration of one of the most influential artists in the genre. Stay tuned for more info to come.
