Eveningtimes.co.uk is reporting:

A Glascow rock jock has banned songs by AC/DC from his radio show - after the group snubbed Scotland on their world tour.

Rock Radio Drivetime presenter David "The Captain" Grant refuses to play tracks from the rock legends because they have only included England in their tour itinerary.

AC/DC, whose songs include Back in Black and For Those About to Rock, have not toured since 2001.

And thousands of rock fans were delighted when they announced a string of European tour dates.

But they were gutted when no Scottish shows were included after rumours of a gig at Glasgow's SECC.

David was outraged at the band's decision and has imposed the ban until further notice.

He said: "I couldn't believe it when I saw Scotland was to be missed out of the group's touring dates.

"Fans are contacting the show in their hundreds and to disappoint loyal, lifelong supporters like this is just unacceptable.

"I will not be playing another AC/DC song on my show for a long time to come, or until the band change their mind on coming to Scotland as part of the tour."

The Black Ice European tour will see the band perform in Dublin, Manchester, London and Birmingham.

But they've left out Glasgow, the birthplace of Angus and Malcolm Young and the city where their first live album, If You Want Blood, was recorded at the Apollo in 1978.
