Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy has shared the following message:
"November 16th, 1984: It was exactly 40 years this evening that I lost my mom in a tragic plane crash. I wrote about this life changing experience in Dream Theater's 'A Change Of Seasons', and the Carpe Diem message is still as important today as it was 40 years ago.
Take a few minutes to watch this video I did a few years ago; it just may change your life. It surely did mine!
There is a certain peace I have this year knowing that my mom and my sister are finally reunited after all these years. Give your loved ones a hug and a kiss because you never know when they'll be gone forever.
