DREAM THEATER, FOO FIGHTERS Among Winners At 64th Annual Grammy Awards

The 64th annual Grammy Awards are currently taking place in Las Vegas, NV at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and some of the winners have already been announced:

The 64th annual Grammy Awards are being broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas from 8:00-11:30 PM, live ET/5:00-8:30 PM, live PT) on the CBS Television Network and will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+. Trevor Noah, the Emmy Award-winning host of The Daily Show, hasd returned as master of ceremonies for Music's Biggest Night.

For the 64th Grammy Awards, AC/DC are nominated in three categories - "Best Rock Performance" for "Shot In The Dark", "Best Rock Album" for Power Up, and "Best Music Video" for "Shot In The Dark".

Competing in the "Best Metal Performance" category are Deftones, Dream Theater, Gojra, Mastodon, and Rob Zombie.

Elsewhere, Wolfgang Van Halen is nominated in the "Best Rock Song" category as writer for Mammoth WVH song, "Distance". Foo Fighters are up for three awards, while Chris Cornell is nominated posthumously in two categories.
