DREAM THEATER Keyboardist JORDAN RUDESS Jams With Jazz Guitarist ERIC ASSARSSON In His Studio (Video)

Dream Theater keyboardist Jordan Rudess recently jammed with jazz guitarist Eric Assarsson and has shared a clip from the session. Check it out below.

Rudess: "A great music hang with Eric! We created this fun musical madness in our short time together at my studio."

In the clip below, Rudess takes a deep dive into the ELP classic "Tarkus", which he calls "one of the most influential songs of my musical life."

"Tarkus" is taken from the Emerson, Lake & Palmer album of the same name, released in 1971. Side one had the seven-part "Tarkus", with a collection of shorter tracks on side two. Tarkus went #1 on the UK Albums Chart, peaked at #9 in the US, and reached #12 in Canada on two occasions, totalling 4 weeks.
