"The Jordan Rudess Online Conservatory is proud to announce a new video course now available, Workstation Basics: Using Multi-Timbral Mode On Your Work Station, presented by former Directory of Professional Products at Kurzweil, Chris Martirano, in conjunction with performance examples by Jordan himself.

Chris holds both a Bachelor of the Arts in Music and Master of the Arts in Teaching.

In the course, Chris leads you through the basic operation of the multi-timbral performance mode found on your keyboard workstation, focusing on the primary skills you need, such as layering, splitting, and creating complex timbral combinations, to make custom performance setups on your keyboard.

Chris demostrates these vital tools on four keyboards: Kurzweil K2600XS, Korg M3, Roland Fantom G8, and Yamaha Motif XS8.

As previously reported, more dates have been added to Dream Theater's Progressive Nation European and North American Tours. On October 3rd, the tour hits Dusseldorf, Germany at Phillipshalle. In North America, "one final date" has been added in New York City, NY at the Beacon Theater on August 9th.
