Drum Legend MIKE PORNOY Tests Positive For COVID-19

Drum legend Mike Portnoy (Transatlantic, The Winery Dogs, Sons Of Apollo, ex-Dream Theater) revealed over the weekend that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
Says Portnoy: "Yep…ugh! 😞 PS - this is my 1st time getting it… turns out when I was sick in Feb after the NMB tour, it was just a very bad sinus infection… Anyways - comments turned off to avoid any political, Vaxx, masks, etc BS - don’t need any of that headache adding to this." 😝
Transatlantic - the prog supergroup featuring Portnoy, Neal Morse, Roine Stolt & Pete Trewavas - are set to hit the road this month.
"These are the ONLY shows we will be doing in support of The Absolute Universe, so if we can’t make it to your area, it may be worth traveling to come see us and share these special shows with us," says a message from the band. "While we wish we could do a full proper tour, getting to play ANY shows for this album is an unexpected treat that we weren’t sure would ever happen…so better late than never!"
