Drummer MATT SORUM Rallies Against LAUSD Budget Cuts In The Arts; Video Available

As reported earlier this week by The Associated Press, the Los Angeles Unified School District's board on Tuesday postponed a decision to slash more than $500 million from next school year's budget, including the elimination of adult education, preschools and elementary arts.
The vote followed a demonstration outside the board meeting and a lengthy parade of people pleading with the board to keep the programs, including Grammy Award-winning drummer Matt Sorum, of the rock group VELVET REVOLVER and formerly of GUNS N' ROSES and THE CULT.
