Elvenking recorded Era with Nino Laurenne at Sonic Pump Studios (CHILDREN OF BODOM, AMORPHIS, APOCALYPTICA) in Helsinki, Finland. Check out the fourth studio report below:

The band recently detailed the guests: "You already know that the Mountain King himself, Mr. JON OLIVA, will be guest on the new album leading his voice on two tracks. But we have also other great guest performance on the album. WINTERSUN’s guitarist Teemu Mäntysaari laid down an incredible guitar solo on a track called 'Walking Dead' (oh yes, this is the very first new title revealed! …cool as the tv series at least!!). You will hear it.

"Also Maurizio Cardullo from our dear fellows FOLKSTONE has taken care of all the folk instruments in the album. So you will hear a lot of bagpipes, tin whistles, low whistles through the songs. What do you think about that? And last but not least the gorgeous and amazing Finnish singer Netta Dahlberg performed some female vocals. If you have the last AMORPHIS album, well she IS that amazing voice!

"Something else? Oh yes, you will hear some amazing choirs performed by a nice fellowship of people: our friend, Mr. Alessandro Conti (yes, exactly him, new RHAPSODY’s singer and TRICK OR TREAT frontman), Marco Sandron (yes! new EDEN’s CURSE singer and also Pathosray lead vocalist), Giordana Gisamano, great voice in Insanity Fair and the great addition of our two HEROES (who are not dead...not yet at least :P) Damna and Aydan. A nice colorful group, isn’t it?"
