EVOKEN - Shades Of Night Descending To Be Reissued With Bonus Material

New Jersey-based funeral doom/death metallers EVOKEN's 1996 album, Shades Of Night Descending, will be reissued this fall by Displeased Records. The reissue will be remastered and include the Promo '96 and Promo '97.

In a recent update the band commented: "Now with the most solid line-up we have had in years, 2009 has become a busy year for us. We have recorded four tracks ( 3 new, 1 old) for a split due out later this year on I Hate Records, with BENEATH THE FROZEN SOIL. We have alo recorded the track 'Yet the Watchers Guard' for the upcoming tribute to the gods of Lovecraftian Doom, THERGOTHON, due out on Solitude Productions.

Evoken are now doing live shows again. we will be in Europe this April with fellow doomsters ISOLE and OFFICIUM TRISTE. In addition, dates are booked for Finland in April."
