June 7, 2012, 12 years ago
On May 31st, Italian metallers EXTREMA entered the ZetaFactory studio in Carpi (MO) to record the drum tracks for their long awaited sixth studio album, which follows the 2009 effort, Pound for Pound. The rest of the work will be done at Fear Studio in Alfonsine (RA).
The new allbum will be produced by Tommy Massara and Gabry Ravaglia, the recording sessions and mix process are set for completion by end of july.
“It took almost two years to write and arrange the songs”, says guitarist Tommy Massara, and again, “these are the heaviest songs we’ve ever wrote and we are looking forward to hearing the final mixes."
This will also be the first album with Gabri Giovanna on bass, whom replaced former member Mattia Bigi two years ago.
Webisodes of the recording will be available soon. Stay tuned.
