Fan "Shocks" ACE FREHLEY With Portrait Painted By PAUL STANLEY; Photo Available

The following update has been issued via KISS frontman Paul Stanley's official website:
Pictured is KISS Fan John Upshaw Downs and Ace Frehley at the KISS Coffeehouse last weekend. They are posing with John's Paul painting "Shock Me".
John on meeting Ace and having him sign the painting:
"When my turn came, I walked up to him, shook his hand and told him how nervous I was. He said don't worry about it. I then pulled out my painting that Paul Stanley did of him in his make-up called "Shock Me." I could not believe it. He stood there for five or ten seconds looking at this, and then he said, "Where did you get this?" I said nervously, " from Paul Stanley." He said, "Wow! Where do you want me to sign this?" I said, "anywhere you want!"He had been signing everything in black ink, but he pulled out a blue sharpie and signed his name at the bottom of the painting. I believe he used the blue sharpie because it went so well with the painting. It is absolutely beautiful!"
