According to Winnipegfreepress.com, Canadian documentary filmmakers Sam Dunn and Scot McFadyen (A Headbanger's Journey, Global Metal, IRON MAIDEN: Flight 666) have the chance this weekend to help the veteran Toronto rock trio RUSH finally nab their first Grammy Award.

But the directors of Rush: Beyond The Lighted Stage warn that the band members won't be there in person at Sunday's gala.

"We tried to bring the band and (drummer) Neil (Peart) said the last time he came to the Grammys - he's only been once - it was the worst day of his life," McFadyen said during a party at the Canadian consul general's residence on Thursday.

"So he said he's never coming again."
"If we could bring it home for those guys, that would be amazing," Dunn said. "It would be amazing for us and I think for the band as well."
