Finland's ENTHROPE will release its debut album, Tomorrow’s Dead Days, on June 2nd via Swedish label Supernova Records.
The first single, 'Moon Chains Descent' is now available via iTunes.
Samples from the album are available at the band's MySpace page.
Enthrope was formed in 2006, when the guitarists Jani and Ville decided to form a band to fulfill the musical style they had had in mind for a longer time. The idea was to create music with its own style to clearly differentiate from the metal music masses. The target has been all along to create epic and heavy death metal based music with more atmospheric and ambient sounds with orchestral and multi-layered synth compositions to fulfil the concept with some delecate doses of melodic vocals.
The debut album’s variable moods with heavier rhythm sections and multidimensionally layered melodic parts clash together naturally and convincingly , sometimes even verging on ambient style break sections. The common denominator within the songs are the solid vocal performances, sovereign and heavy playing ability and the distinctive, atmosphere creating dynamic curves between the heavy and majestic guitar/vocal/synth parts and the more tender musical passages.
The album also contains guest vocals from Suvi Grym, the lead singer from the band VANGUARD, bringing some female dimension to the mainly dominant male singing in the album. The album was recorded in D-Studio by Jarno Hänninen and mastered by the Swedish Enhanced Audio Productions by Ronnie Bjönström
