Former HOLLYWOOD ROSE Guitarist Chris Weber: GUNS N’ ROSES “Would Have Been A Different Band”

Swedish Hard Rock/Heavy Metal site MetalShrine (Metalshrine.se) has posted an interview with U.P.O. guitarist Chris Weber (ex-HOLLYWOOD ROSE) in which he discusses former Hollywood Rose bandmate Axl Rose (GUNS N’ ROSES) and his early days on the scene.
When asked if he looks back and thinks that if he had stayed in Hollywood Rose he would have wound up in Guns N’ Roses, Weber replies, “I mean, I was a song writer and one of the principal musicians in the song writing team in Hollywood Rose. It would have sounded as if I was playing so whatever it was it was just the perfect thing for them at the perfect time. So to answer your question, no I never really felt like that. In hindsight it would have been a different band.”
