Former POSSESSED Guitarist Mike Torrao Joins San Francisco's INACAGE

San Francisco-based metallers INACAGE have issued the following update:
"We are proud and honored to have our good friend Mike Torrao now a part of INaCAGE! Mike is the orginal and founding member of the death metal band POSSESSED. He wrote some of the sickest guitar riffs ever to come out in the metal scene as well as being the main songwriter for the band that lead to their success. The direction of INaCAGE is obviously going to change to some degree. With Torrao's sick and quick picking accompanied by (Anthony) Pereda's (bass) fast fingers on bass, it is going to be interesting to say the least. Stay tuned in upcoming months for we will be adding new songs that will be sure to take on a life of their own!"INaCAGE covers the Possessed classic 'The Exorcist' on their MySpace page.
In other news, Torrao has issued the following statement regarding former Possessed bassist/vocalist Jeff Becerra's decision to perform as Possessed (with members of SADISTIC INTENT): "Jeff Becerra can not sign a record deal under the name Possessed because of the copyright laws and technically isn't in the right to perform under the Possessed name. I suggest Jeff Becerra go under a different name and say featuring Jeff Becerra from Possessed."
