January 29, 2008, 14 years ago
FRAZE GANG, featuring ex-BRIGHTON ROCK members Greg Fraser (guitars/vocals) and Stevie Skreebs (bass), have issued the following update:"The new CD is finally here! The cover came out great and 'Jackhammer' sounds awesome as the new lead off track. As previously noted this is the debut CD of Fraze Gang which has been repackaged with new artwork and an extra song added. Bongo Beat Records president Ralph Alfonso has slated April 8th as the release date for Canada and April/May - USA, and May/June for the UK. Advanced copies of the cd can now be purchased on the Fraze Gang site only.
In other news, the big benefit concert for the C.A.C.N. was a huge success. The Moose & Goose was packed out and everybody had a blast! Rockin out with Fraze Gang were local favorites DICK TRACY, BOOM, MOCK THE JESTER, MARCO SOLO and HIP.NOT.IC. New second guitarist Derek McGowan's debut gig was also a
highlight as he was rockin' up a storm!
The band is pumped & ready to tear it up this Thursday, January 31st at Rock & Roll Heaven in Toronto (details here).

The follow is the official Bongo Beat Records press release for the new album:
Fraze Gang features rockers Greg Fraser and Stevie Skreebs, both were at the helm of Brighton Rock, one of the premier Canadian hair metal bands of the '80s. Taking their heavy guitar influences and fusing it with melodies, Fraze Gang brings the sound that captured the hearts of air-guitarists and '70s KISS fans into modern times. Full of hooks and riff ready guitars, Fraze Gang's debut will be released by Bongo Beat April 8th.
Copies of the CD will available for sale in advance at Rock n Roll Heaven. Bongo Beat label head Ralph Alfonso was part of Brighton Rock's management in the '80s."It's totally great to reconnect with the guys and bring some fun rock 'n roll onto the label. Greg Fraser is one of the great melodic rock writers."
