Author Blair Gibson recently compiled a book titled From The Minds Of Madness: The Origins Of Heavy Metal Band Names. Gibson contacted over 200 bands of various genres of the heavy metal realm and came up with the origins of 234 bands with direct quotes from bands from all metal genres from black metal to power metal to thrash metal and every genre in between. The foreword was written by Aaron Stainthorpe from MY DYING BRIDE.
From The Minds Of Madness: The Origins Of Heavy Metal Band Names is available for $2.99 for the eBook version and $12.99 for the printed version. There is also a limited copy of the book (66 copies) for $79.99 which makes the whole book in colour.
