GIANT X, SPIDER Featured On Rich Davenport's Rock Show

Rich Davenport's Rock Show this week (Sunday, January 27th 15:00-17:00 GMT, repeated Monday, January 28th 02:00-04:00 GMT on Bloodstockradio.com) featured exclusive interviews with RUNNING WILD's Rolf Kasparek about his new project GIANT X, and Col Harkness of NWOBHM-era boogie blasters SPIDER and is available now for streaming at this location.
In the first hour, Rolf Kasparek talks about his new classic Hard Rock project Giant X, in which he's joined by his Running Wild guitar partner Peter Jay Jordan, influenced by the likes of KISS, QUEEN, THIN LIZZY and VAN HALEN. Rolf talks about the writing and recording of their debut album One and chooses two tracks from the new release.
And in the second half of the show, it's a special feature on NWOBHM-era boogie masters Spider, as the band celebrate the release of their new box set, The Complete Anthology , featuring all their studio albums, including the long lost Raise The Banner album. Frontman Col Harkness chooses tracks from all three albums, and Classic Rock and Metal Hammer journalists Malcolm Dome and Dave Ling chose their favourite Spider tracks. And Tony Wilson, producer of the legendary BBC radio show The Friday Rock Show talks about producing two of the band's albums.
