GUNS N' ROSES - Axl Rose Needs Oxygen Mask To Get Through Gigs; UK Fans Walk Out On Comeback Show

EntertainmentWise (www.entertainmentwise.com) has issued the following report from Daniel Melia:
Axl Rose has reportedly needed the use of an oxygen mask between each song during GUNS N' ROSES recent tour dates.
According to reports in local newspapers in Budapest the 44 year old singer apparently had to run off stage to use the mask in the bands dressing room at a recent gig in Hungary.
The concert, as with the bands recent London gig, was held up by Rose for several hours because he reported wanted to make sure that only his own special oxygen mask was connected to the tanks.
The Sun reports that an ambulance was also on standby in case of any problems with Rose’s breathing and technicians in the band's entourage have admitted that he would have got through the lengthy European tour without the oxygen.
Meanwhile, The Post Chronicle (www.postchronicle.com) has issued the following report from Jack Ryan:
A report from across the great pond tells the story of how fans walked out of Guns N' Roses' comeback London gig last night, apparently because lead singer Axl Rose was over an hour late.
The band's followers waited hours for Rose to arrive but many lost patience and stormed out. Rose is the only original member in the new-look line-up Guns.
The 'Sweet Child 'O Mine' rocker didn't hit the stage until 10:45 PM, which was one hour and 15 minutes behind the promoted 9:30 PM start at the Hammersmith Apollo. Many fans left simply because they didn't want to miss their trains.
Daily Star writer Carl Stroud reports: "My expectations were high. They haven't played this venue for 19 years... But you could feel the crowd getting hacked off as the 9:30 PM stage time came and went without any explanation... Hundreds of fans abandoned the show to get public transport home. Lots of people I spoke to had come from outside London and had no choice... They got nothing for their effort."
For the more fortunate who either didn't live far or didn't have jobs, Guns N' Roses treated them to a 120 minute, hit-saturated set which included four new tracks from upcoming album Chinese Democracy.
