HEAVEN SHALL BURN Guitarists In New Interview

Rockpages.gr has issued an interview that they conducted with HEAVEN SHALL BURN guitarists Maik Weichert and Alexander Dietz. The following is an excerpt in which the two guitarists talk about the band’s attitude:
Q: Do you find it annoying when you are strongly criticized about being activists in a way?
Maik: "Well, some people do think that this is a kind of an image or something but when they start discussing with us they realize that we are so much passionate about that issue. We are always surprised because we receive so many e-mails from kids and people who are discussing stuff with us and telling us that it’s so cool that some band is doing something different than singing about dungeons and dragons or girlfriends or Satan or other clichés... The feedback has been really positive on that so far which is something we didn’t expect. What we expected more was people screaming that this is just some selling point or image like Rage Against The Machine!"
Alexander: "This time was really cool! We got some e-mails from teachers who are handing these topics of our lyrics with their classes in school; some guys even do their homework based on our lyrics..."
