HELIX - Release Date Confirmed For Gimme An R! Autobiography

HELIX mainman Brian Vollmer has issued the following update at the band's official website:
"It looks like December 23rd will now be the day that Gimme an R! comes back from the printers. I must thank everyone who has ordered a book for their patience. Initially we were aiming at the first week of December (for the release) but that all changed when I started adding more and more photographs. Terry and Lucas at Ball Media put in mega-hours of overtime so we could get it out before Christmas. Anyhoo, the book looks great and if I had it all to do over again I would still go with the extra pictures as it makes the book look so much better.The book was a hot topic of conversation at our Christmas party as many people here had some type of connection to it. Either they supplied me with pictures or they had a “quote” on the back (ie. Leigh Robert of The Hawk and Tim Henderson of Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles.) Seeing as we won’t get copies until December 23rd, Lynda and I have planned to pick them up that day and then hand deliver some of them, especially in the Kitchener/Brantford/London area (in Ontario). If you have already purchased Gimme an R! and live in my area, let me know by email and either you can come pick your copy up at Planet Helix or we can make other arrangements. I know a lot of you are intending on giving the book as a Christmas present(s)."
