Historic Boleskine House, Formerly Owned By LED ZEPPELIN Guitarist JIMMY PAGE And Occultist ALEISTER CROWLEY, Gutted In Massive Blaze

A historic manor house once owned by Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page and occultist Aleister Crowley has been devastated in a huge blaze, reports Mirror.co.uk.

At the time of this report, Boleskine House, in the Scottish Highlands, was still being doused by fire crews after a blaze was reported at around 1:40 PM (UK time) this afternoon. Around 60 per cent of the building has already been destroyed and firefighters have been unable to get inside the building to check for casualties.

Page bought the house at the height of Led Zeppelin's fame in 1970 as a restoration project and a base for songwriting, but spent little time there and eventually sold it in 1992. It has since been used as a private residence and a guest house, and was put up for sale in 2009 for £17.
