'Rock Me', the latest song from hard rockers HYDROGYN is the lead single and video from the forth coming release, Break The Chains, due out next Tuesday, November 5th.
'Rock Me' was recorded at Wireworld Studio in Nashville, TN by heavy weight producer Michael Wagener (METALLICA, POISON, DOKKEN) along with Julie and Jeff Westlake. The band also recorded another track as well that will be on the upcoming release. 'Rock Me' was mixed by both Wagener and Westlake to show different sides of the song. "Michael had done the original mix which is big and very Michael Wagener. Julie and I also went into Ridgeline Studio's and did a mix for the video which has a modern twist to it. Both versions will be available," stated band founder and guitarist Jeff Westlake.
"This release is going to be the first of a lot of frequent releases that may or may not be a full album. The price will reflect what it is but we have decided that we want to keep releasing new material so we have decided to probably make this an EP format and probably keep new stuff coming out every six to eight months in this fashion," says Julie.
The video also features ANGEL OF ANGELS REVENGE from Huntsville Alabama that Jeff and Julie are currently working with in the studio for their debut release. The band has stated that there will be three video's for this effort and more to come from it as well.
The artwork for the release wont be unveiled until next Tuesday along with the single and video.
