hot flashes news in flames

IN FLAMES bassist Peter Iwers has issued the following update from the band's current Scandinavian tour:

Tuesday, March 20th:

"The show went well and afterwards we went out to a local pub and hung out with some people there. Good times. Then we played singstar until 7 in the morning, it is so funny hearing everybody singing.

I woke up too early as we were thrown out of the bus due to repairs that was needed on it. Luckily we had a spa where we spent the entire day up until showtime, getting massage, using the sauna and in general having quality time with ourselves.

Around 19.00 we heard they had a poker tournament close by. The price was 500 Nkr to be spent in the bar. Seemed like a good price and we entered. Unfortunately, there was not enough time to be able to finish it cause of the set time but it was fun while it lasted.

The show was soooo amazing. Apparently it had been sold out in less than two hours and it was packed. It was the last show in Norway and it has been a great week. Beautiful country and friendly people."

Wednesday, March 21st:

"Woke up around 4:00 in the afternoon. Still in the bus driving towards an off day in Gothenburg. Great to be able to come home and see the family. Got to meet my daughter and girlfriend and having some dinner together really recharged my batteries. Later that night I went out to a local bar with some friends and we ended up in the bus around five in the morning heading off to Karlskrona for the next show."

Thursday, March 22nd:

"Again I am going to start with: 'woke up' around 2:00pm, went into the venue fell asleep on a couch while watching a Steven Seagal movie. Then we went out for some dinner at a great steakhouse..."
