It's Official - SLASH To Mentor Next Week's American Idol

American Idol host Ryan Seacrest has just announced that guitar legend SLASH (VELVET REVOLVER/ex-GUNS N' ROSES) is confirmed as an American Idol mentor for a rock theme next week which will air on Fox on Tuesday, May 5th at 8PM/7C. It's unclear if Slash will appear/perform live on the Wednesday show (May 6th) where fans vote off one of the contestants. For more details visit www.americanidol.com.
