According to an update from Metal Express Radio, original JETBOY vocalist Mickey Finn has officially announced his departure from the band. The split took place mid-September when Finn revealed he would not be able to take part in a planned European tour. Jetboy has chosen to continue without Finn and the European tour will take place November 12 through mid-December.
Finn has issued the following statement: "I wish the guys the best but from here on out they should start fresh and change there name because it's just not Jetboy anymore. I apologize to all the Jetboy fans who will be disappointed by this news and thank you for your support over the years."
Finn's new band, COLD BLUE REBELS, has completed work on its debut album Blood, Guts, Rock N' Roll, for a January 11, 2011 release. More details will revealed soon. Check out the band's official MySpace page here.
