JIMI HENDRIX Awarded Star On Nashville's Music City Walk Of Fame; Video Available

According to Wkrn.com, JIMI HENDRIX was among the stars awarded stars on the Music City Walk of Fame in Nashville Monday. Prior to getting his musical start, Hendrix was in the army and stationed at Ft. Campbell.
When he got out of the army, in 1962, he and a friend traveled to Nashville and started playing in clubs on Jefferson Street and on Printer’s Alley.
In fact, Music City is where he got his musical start.
Hendrix’s family was in Nashville Monday to accept the honor.
