JOHAN LIIVA: "I Am Not Some Fuckin' Messiah"

Former ARCH ENEMY vocalist Johan Liiva, currently fronting HEARSE, has issued the following update:
"Yesterday I went to the super market.Afterwards on my way back to the car, I saw this guy on his knees in the rain... a "beggar"... with a small basket with 2 pics of his kids.
In the blink of an eye I just walked towards him and put a hundred bucks in his hand, told him "take care of this please" and went to my car.
You think I am crazy?
Hmmm... Maybe I am.
Coz I really do not know this guy, his intentions or background etc. He is not part of my "family". He is not my "friend". Yet, the fact remains that he was there. In need of some kinda help.
And while we are so damn busy and occupied by our X-mas shopping and arrangements, other people are not that well-fed and so on. No matter if it's freakin X-mas or not - people still suffer.
I am not some fuckin messiah. No way. I just do what I think is right.
The reflection from his eyes gave me so much back. You have no idea what state I was in while safely seated in my car. Damn.
