JUDAS PRIEST singer Rob Halford spoke with Nathan Bevan from WalesOnline on 40 years of heavy metal recently.
When asked about parting ways with ways with original guitarist K.K. Downing: “It genuinely came as a massive shock when Ken told us,” sighs Halford, the guitarist having allegedly elected to stay home to look after his newly-built Shropshire golf course. “And we really hoped he’d change his mind, but a two-year world tour can be quite physically grueling and I think maybe he just lost some of the passion for it.”
