The video for 'Taking The World By Storm', a track off KATAKLYSM's latest album, Prevail, will air on MTV2's Headbanger's Ball this Saturday, June 14th between 11 PM and 1 AM (EST, PST).

On working with director David Brodsky, Kataklysm vocalist Maurizio Iacono stated: “It was a true pleasure to work with David on this video. His level of professionalism is outstanding and his vision is great. We had fun filming this video although we froze our fucking balls off for 12 hours! David really captured the energy and apocalyptic feel of the track - and the song is definitely one of my favorites on the album. Enjoy!”

Prophetic in its song title, the 12-hour shoot for 'Taking The World By Storm' took place in Newark, New Jersey in the midst of the region's worst blizzard of the year.

Available in North America since May 27th, Prevail sold over 2,500 copies in the US and became the #1 most added album at Canadian radio during the first week of release, entered the German album chart at #38, charted in Austria at #44, and clinched the #83 spot in Switzerland's charts. Mixed at AudioHammer Studios in Orlando, Florida with producer Jason Suecof, Prevail includes guest appearances from Pat O'Brien (CANNIBAL CORPSE), Dave Linsk (OVERKILL), and producer/guitarist Suecof. The CD includes a bonus DVD of the band's full performance at DeepRockDrive studios in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 3rd, 2007.
