KATAKLYSM frontman Maurizio Iocono recently took time out from his busy touring schedule with CHIMAIRA, DIVINE HERESY, and TERROR to sit down with MetalSucks to discuss the tour, the fans, and the band's upcoming album which is due for a May 2008 release.

Iocono also talks about Paganfest USA, the spring run with ENSIFERUM, TURISAS, TRY and ELUVEITIE. An excerpt from the chat follows:

"The tour just started, we are doing our fourth show tonight in Buffalo… we are having a good time so far and its killer to see our old fans showing up and being wild as well as making new fans. They expect the Kataklysm chaos as we are known to deliver, we love it when the crowd is wild and loud, we have fun on stage and we want the fans to have great time, so expect a crazy performance in your face!"
