Former GUNS N' ROSES/VELVET REVOLVER guitar icon SLASH was in Toronto last week celebrating Canadian Music Week, appearing as a Keynote Speaker. Backstage Axxess has uploaded footage of Slash being interviewed by host Dave Bookman. Check it out at this location.
Slash is now pushing the release of his new album, Apocalyptic Love. Audio samples of all tracks on the record can be heard by clicking on the Amazon widget at the bottom of the page.
BraveWords.com caught up with Slash last week in Toronto and discussed such topics as his love for the city, pre-show jitters, the gelling of his current band, working with such icons as MICHAEL JACKSON and ALICE COOPER and much, much more. The press were cautioned not to bring up the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame debacle and any mention of Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose, but at the end of the chat Slash mentions that all the hoopla around the induction ceremony taking place April 14th in Cleveland, Ohio is being "blown out of proportion."
