Courtesy of Capital Chaos TV, the clips below feature Killswitch Engage performing "Rose of Sharyn" and "The Signal Fire" with former vocalist, Howard Jones, at the Warfield Theater in San Francisco, CA on February 23rd.
Howard Jones was with the Killswitch Engage from 2002–2012, replacing Jesse Leach, who returned to the band in 2012.
Back in March 2021, guitarist Jared Dines, who has made a name for himself via YouTube, shared the official video for the song "The Blade", the first offering from his new band Sion featuring Howard Jones. The duo released their independently funded debut album on November 26th 2021.
Check out the video for the new single,"Drown", below.
Speaking with Rock Feed back in August 2020, Dines revealed how his partnership with Jones began.
Dines: "Way back in 2018 was the Trivium tour that I filled in for that Howard was on with his band Light The Torch. And, of course, we met and we talked and we just kind of randomly started talking about working together. I think Howard mentioned, 'Down the road, let's maybe talk about doing something.' And, of course I was, 'Yeah, that sounds awesome.' So that's kind of where it started."
Sion's self-titled debut album is available on all streaming platforms and via Bandcamp.
The tracklist is as follows:
"The Blade"
"Drown"
"More Than Just Myself"
"The Worst Way"
"Buried Alive and Wide Awake"
"Skyfall"
"Endless War"
"A Constant Reminder"
"Something To Live For"
"Great Deceiver"
"Dying of The Light"
"Inside The Hollow"
