November 20, 2012, 11 years ago
Spanish industrial metallers KILLUS have inked a deal with Art Gates Records.
This explosive 4-piece combo - formed 10 years ago in the city of Vila Real - has managed to reflect an attitude and unique sound. Under influences from bands such as NINE INCH NAILS, MARILYN MANSON and DEPECHE MODE, sharing stage with well known acts such as GUNS N' ROSES, NIGHTWISH, IN FLAMES, DEATHSTARS, HAMLET and Marylin Manson themselves.
The staging of the band is one of their strongest points, equipped with a powerful sound and a striking image, which turns Killus into a whirlwind live.
After three MCDs with a great impact statewide, in 2006 the band recorded their first LP, entitled God Bless Us, produced by Carlos Creator, which received an excellent response from the national and international press, increasing the large fan base of the band. In 2009, the band released Extinción, their second studio album, produced by Jorge Escobedo. The third studio album was produced again by Carlos Creator and entitled Never Something Was So Real, released in 2011.
After receiving outstanding feedback from the national and international press and having a great response from their followers, Killus are now in the creative process of their new and fourth studio album, still untitled, which will be released in 2013 through Art Gates Records.
Says the label: "We've been following the path of the band and we can't say more than highlight positive aspects about them, demonstrating professionalism, passion and vitality, both above and below the stage and that is something essential for the succes of a band. We are very proud to present Killus as the new band of AGR".
In words of Killus: "After three albums begins a new era for the band, taking a further step in our career. No doubt this opportunity will be very important and positive for us and will give us the opportunity to show the world our new work. Art Gates Records know what a band needs and that's what we're looking for".
